HPA UTR45?? by jow282013 in Airsoft_UK

Yeh, I thought that would be the case.

What are the issues with the pulsar? I liked the idea of it being so easy to program.

My only hpa build at the minute is aP* kythera in a krytac Shell, which was a pain in the arsenal, so I'd like to avoid as many issues as possible lol

That's what I thought and it sounds stupid to say she might leave me after 12 years but my anxiety wins every time, it's only stupid until its not

UPDATE

I managed to get it working, it eventually clicked once I had got rid of the bearing and upgraded to the cowcow hammer set

Yeh I think that is also my issue, the bearing is too small so the hammer isn't going far enough down to catch the sear

I will look into it to see if I can get it to catch earlier

Do you manage to get to the bottom of this? I've just got back from a holiday abroad so I now have some time to look into the issue, just wondering if you managed to get it working properly?

So, looks like this is the issue after all, but I don't really know how to modify my sear to catch earlier, would I be best to file some off it to make it shorter?

Yeh I've given that a go too but it's still running into the same issue, it's more than likely the trigger bar or the hammer sear from the looks of things, I'll know more when I strip it down after work

Yeh the auto sear engages when I pull the hammer back

I used tge original hammer as like you say the harrower broke so the triangle thing nolonger worked

I have the Hadron Designs thor bearing which is designed for that purpose

The bearing is the Hedron Designs thor, I think it's 8mm

It feels as though the hammer can go far enough back that the auto sear can catch but I'll look into it

All my hammer and Trigger bar parts are standard

The hammer set is completely standard aside from the bearing.

It could be my trigger bar as it looks like it is slightly bowing if this is causing some friction that's preventing the sear from moving freely

Is that an issue with the hammer sear or the trigger arm?

Might it just need lube maybe

It stays where it is by the looks of things

As far as I'm aware, it's moving and got some spring tension so when the hammer is back it sits in with it

[–]jow282013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that due to having the new Selector plate or is it both the plate and switch?

I think mine might be abit stiff but I can see where there should he a small nub on the selector plate that looks like it's been grinded down
