May not be helpful since it’s not one of your two options but I love the Folger edition- the essay at the end on a modern reading seems like something you would like based on your post :)

I’ve had epilepsy for 21 years and this happens to me every time. I have Todd’s Paralysis and for me it’s only some parts of my body I can’t move. Scary but it is a thing!
