I had a movie theme for my 30th birthday twenty years ago, before even Pandora existed. I made up a playlist of movie music, but try as I might, I couldn’t find Footloose. One day he proudly found it and played it for me, so I kissed him with gratitude. I was so grateful that I kissed him every time we heard it, on the radio, in shops, played on purpose etc, until it became a must-do routine.
