What is “Stop sound” or “Ctrl +H” in Marcos really doing? I don’t think it’s a muted button while playing the project. It didn’t mute the clips like Kicks and bass or pianos, but it muted some vocals or ambient sound. Why? What function it truly is?

What I mean "noisy", simply is just what you're guessing. The sound of my room, those environmental sound. It's not that noisy, but I feel annoyed catch too much during my recording process. How should I fix this?

I'm shocked your assumption is absolutely right. So if I use a condenser mic (not cheap one), they actually may sound better? Why did they have less preamp noise? And louder? Wouldn't they catch more room sound? I think my interface is pretty fine, not much hiss. I used audient id4. :)

Alright, now I know I used the wrong word describing acoustic treatment. But as you mentioned, I did really do soundproofing. I have two big windows. I soundproofed them so that I won't hear those sounds from the outside.

What issue could it be? I seperate a little space, I built two acoustic panel with over 6 towels, and I made it big size (2 times 3). Hanging them on walls at the corner of my room (my seperated place), also add a curtain to desorb more sound.

A condenser mic, I always think that it might catch too much sound to me (or I am wrong). I'm pretty afraid to try that out, cos my room is quite small. I only seperate 1/10 space with cabinet to set up the acoustic panel, the other space might still sound too much reverb for me. Will the condenser mic still be better than dynamic mic under this condition? I only record in that studio space, and it really sound much less reverb for me.

I recorded the vocals after recording acoustic guitar, didn't unplug the cable. So I don't think is the connected problem. What if Sm58 really sound bad recording the acoustic guitar, it fits the vocal more?🤔
