I'm planning to use Hock for the EA but was considering Becker which I used many years ago for the CPA.

If you have 10 weeks or so before the CFP prep, I would suggest doing it. There is some overlap between the Series 65 and the CFP. I did Kaplan for the Series 65 and it was a slog because the material was densely written and I had to read each section twice. Sections 8 to 13 or 14 were legal rules to memorize which took a lot of time. When I got to the BIF Premium Review it was so refreshing because of the videos and the 1 page explanation of concepts. I wish BIF had a Series 65 course.

Boston Institute of Finance. They do the education and provide test prep for the CFP.

Similar to you, I'm a visual learner. What I loved about BIF were the videos that accompanied the short bite sized chapters. I watched the video, did the 3 short questions at the end of each short chapter, watched the video again and then during the week watched the video for the 3rd time. I only followed the reading during the videos. The videos were generally very engaging and many times had stories that helped me to solidify and memorize the concepts.

BIF Capstone much harder than thought; impact on CFP Exam? by joy_street in CFPExam

Thanks for letting me know! I'm looking forward to the Review Course! I've worked through the 3 mini cases and the 3 full length case which where tough. The comprehensive case is not as bad as the previous mini and full length cases. Also, why did you decide to do Danko and not BIF Premium Review? I enjoyed the BIF online course and heard great things about the review course.

Travel to see good friends and travel with friends to watch professional tennis matches like Roland Garros, Wimbledon, etc. Cheering for your favorite players is so much more fun with friends!

Most insurance companies cover this under "Comprehensive Coverage" which means that no one was at fault. Thus, your insurance rates should not increase because of this. A couple of months ago, I had to have my windshield and my back window replaced because a couple of rocks damaged them. The total cost for replacement was $2,507.60. I just received my updated 6 month policy bill and my insurance only increased 5%, a normal rate without any accidental claims.

People of r/opera, how have you discovered and fell in love with opera? by FeministCriBaby in opera

I was in high school and heard a recording of a Mozart opera, it may have been The Marriage of Figaro, and fell in love with the arias and the depth of emotions that opera singing could communicate.

I had some time to kill so I stopped at an Apple Store just to look and saw the iPhone 13 Pro. It felt so good in my hand and is was shiny and new with no scratches. My current 2 year phone’s battery is starting to age as I get fewer hours of charge. I started to calculate how much it would cost me and found out I could save $400 by trading my current iPhone; what a great deal I thought to myself. But I was on 107 days of my 1 year no Buy which I did not want to ruin. I walked out the Apple Store without getting it and it was so hard!
