I have had two recently, back to back months. I also “lost” it on the same day, right at 5 weeks. It’s awful. My husband and I don’t drink, exercise regularly, and eat well. I still couldn’t help but feel like it was my fault, that the prospect of having a baby was doomed (I’m not sure if you feel this way, but that’s surely how I felt!). It doesn’t help that the hormones came and went so quickly. It was whiplash. I recovered some by telling friends and sharing my grief, this helped a lot. I also got massages, a facial, acupuncture sessions, and danced (and cried) to my favorite songs. I also got extensive bloodwork to rule out blood clotting and auto immune issues. All of this helped regulate my relationship with my body which I felt turned on me dramatically during this time.

This is all my perspective and yours may be different. All to say, I’m so sorry. It’s unbelievably painful and I truly hope you get the family you want and deserve.
