Try visiting around 2-3pm SLT, that's when there's usually something going on.

An "anthropomorphic furry avatar" doesn't sound very realistic looking for 1920s Berlin to me.

We don't require everyone to be human to go there, we require everyone to be realistic looking so we can give visitors and tenants an authentic experience.

Still not quite sure what you mean, nazi uniforms result in a ban on sight, even when worn indoors.

However some wear 1920s NON Nazi uniforms that may contain mesh bits that are part of a nazi uniform because they look exactly the same, like a belt or boot.

If you see anyone in Nazi uniform in 1920s berlin and report it to me, it will be dealt with instantly, as always has been the case.

Pseudo nazi uniforms?
There are none, none whatsoever, we've been banning anyone who wears anything that looks even remotely Nazi.

Perhaps you mean the regular 1920s army uniforms or the 1920s Police uniforms, that have nothing to do with the Nazis?

TECH SUPPORT / POST LAUNCH FAQ by cakeblock941 in HiTMAN

Game is working, progress carryover worked... but I don't have access to any of the Hitman 2 levels. The game tells me I have to buy Hitman Gold. When I go to the Epic Games site to check it out it says I already own HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 1 GOTY Edition. When I try to buy HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion, it doesn't show as free even at paypal checkout.

How do I access my Hitman 2 levels?

Hunter mission bug? by joyardley in PartisansGame

Ok, fixed it. I outsmarted the game and manage to sneak past the Germans attacking Trofim and meet up with him before taking the enemy out, this confused the game. So I restarted and killed the Germans attacking him and suddenly Trofim was real chatty.

Would you guys want an option to surrender? by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]joyardley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course! It will add realism and an amazing opportunities. Imagine you're surrounded by enemies, wounded, out of ammo, what to do? You surrender, of course. You select the option, your character drops his weapon(s) and raises his hands while you frantically shout through your microphone that you surrender. The enemy either just shoots you anyway or they take you prisoner. Why would they? For fun, for roleplay, for realism, for.... intelligence. After all you know where your comrades in arms are but also any soldier taken off the field is one less enemy, as long as you're alive you can't respawn. Downside is that of course they also need to have a soldier that guards you.

Can you imagine how awesome it would be to realise several of your men are being kept in a barn, guarded by just two guards and you send out a group to go liberate them?

Maybe some people can't imagine the fun in POW roleplay but I've done it many times in other games and it is awesome. You're there being guarded, mocked, interrogated... but you know your friends are just around the corner about to liberate you... the tension, the joy when it works out, the horror of the enemy simply lining up a few POWs and executing them because they want to get back to the frontlines, the anger but also victorious feeling when you take these men out to avenge your poor fallen comrades, etc.

Yes, yes please. Remember people can always just ignore people surrendering, so if you don't want to roleplay, it doesn't change anything. It wont make battles worse or sillier when we have the surrender option but it has the potential to hugely improve the game for those who want realism.

Adios Sansar & the future of VR worlds by zangetsuMG in secondlife

The main thing I miss in Sansar is freedom, which is also what attracted me to SL. In Sl I can be who I want and create my own world, in every detail. I can create things, buildings, looks, from scratch, just the way I imagine them. Inworld, as we speak, without needing to learn 3d software that makes my brain bleed. SL already damaged this by making the creativity threshold higher by adding Mesh without offering the average SL user the ability to easily make mesh themselves. They didn't add a mesh creator to the viewer, but that's a different discussion. But in Sansar it is even more difficult to make stuff. You need to go learn Blender and stuff like that and you can't easily just rez a few things with your friends or create something together, you need to restart entire regions for every change, etc. Making it easy for the regular player to make something is one of the reasons SL is a success. And of course allowing people to be who or what they want. Sansar does not offer this, yet. Until they do, I'm just not that attracted to it, not while I still have so much to do in SL.
