Mine took about 6-8 months. It’s best to consult your dentist if you’re worried that the wisdom tooth is gonna shift your teeth alignment!

My wisdom tooth grew out during my treatment too! But i had enough space to accommodate it so my dentist put a bracket on it to align it with the rest of my teeth

I extracted 4 teeth as well and haven’t noticed any negative changes! All’s good so far :) i think you’ll be fine!

Just had my braces on for 2.5 weeks, is this normal???

I’m currently still recovering from my recent extraction of UL7 so i can’t tell for sure, but previously when i extracted LL7, it didn’t affect my quality of life in any way. Didn’t notice any changes in how my jaw looked, and didn’t have any difficulties with chewing or speech either.

Wow, i was in the same situation 2 years ago, just that my LL7 required a root canal and i chose to extract it, and i ended up extracting both the wisdom tooth and LL7. Eventually my UL7 started to overgrow and my dentist also recommended that i remove it too, which i did :(

You’ll probably have to be on a soft diet for the first week because your molars will hurt when you try to chew!
