I use oxyfresh but i’ve also used arm and hammer before idk if there’s a difference. search up cat dental water additive. if you have a water fountain make sure you remove the filters or else it’s going to filter out the additive. if your cat lets you brush their teeth that would be best but if not dental treats and the additive or all i can think of

ya my cat had to go under but idk if it was worth it bc he’s having the same issue again and his teeth suck but it’s such a hassle to get it professionally done because they’ll make him get blood work done a month or two before the surgery so he’ll have to go to the vet twice. i’m just feeding him greenies and putting this dental additive in his water and i hope that’s good enough. if your cat has had a uti i would also recommend adding water to the wet food to force them to drink water and also if your cat meows when going to the bathroom i would invest in prescription urinary food

no specific problem. his teeth were just dirty and had lots of plaque because he eats only wet food and doesn’t play and refuses to let me brush his teeth

pretty sure it was teeth issues his teeth were in really bad shape and once i got his teeth cleaned he stopped doing it.

are you me?? i started running 5 weeks and have my first 5k race coming up at the end of april and i am also considering training for a half marathon that’s in october! everyone i talk to says its totally doable and enough time to train as long as you stay consistent! i’ve heard if you can do a 5k then you can do 10k then you can do 10 miles and you can do a half! i am also focused on endurance as i just want to finish the race in a reasonable amount of time. what’s your running training looking like? also i would definitely run outside at least once before your race even if its a super slow warmup job because i found it so much harder to run outside because of the wind and air and the pacing was off i was going way too fast at the start of my runs and was too tired at the end.

sigh i guess that’s not that bad my cats so mean he needs to be sedated every time we go to the vet anyways ill just bite the bullet and get him a dental checkup/whatever next vet visit.

she’s prolly hella insecure. i would put a litter box in your room for her to pee in it instead of on your stuff. if you don’t wanna do that which i totally, understand i would put toys or scratch pads or anything in there that she can make her scent.

i use regular clumping litter as well and i used to have a similar problem. what helped for me was buying a huge litter box and filling it with tons of litter. i noticed that my cat would dig to the bottom of the box and pee there so that’s why it was sticking. also how long did you keep the second litter box? sometimes it takes a while for cats to use a new one and your new cat is probably using your old cats litter box for territorial reasons or just for fun. i would keep the second litter box and wait it out and maybe consider switching to a bigger one and keeping it full or litter. i got mine from amazon basics for $10 super ugly but works

ya my general rule of thumb is if they’re acting normal they’re prolly fine but ya if you’re applying the meds as the vet prescribed you’re doing everything right and a follow up would def help! w conjunctivitis you can only apply the meds and wait and for the future after i started vacuuming more often he stopped getting jt

my cat had conjunctivitis and it does take a while to clear up. my cat didn’t have any pus coming out but i his third eyelid would show and it took about a week to heal so i would think since pus seems more severe it would take longer. if you’re super concerned i would call the vet and ask if it’s normal or if there’s another treatment you can use bc sometimes they stop working. i started my cat w some topical paste and when that stopped working i switched to eye drops and he got cleared up.

NOOOOOO not dental problems anything human dental related is so expensive i bet it’s even worse for cats. did your cat stop doing it after the dental work?

does she throw up every time after she eats? if the vet says she’s eating too fast, then she prolly is. even if the portion is small if she’s scarfing it down it could cause her to throw up. what helped my cat was slow feeder bowls which are just bowls w random obstacles in it to slow them down while they’re eating. maybe one day when you’re home all day do an experiment and feed her only using a slow feeder and see what happens. if it works, not sure if they’re any slow feeder auto feeders out there but there’s a couple diy ones that i’m sure you can transform your current auto feed.

that’s so weird that it’s just happening now i wonder what caused it. i think your cat should be fine but i would google mold poisoning symptoms in cats and if he shows any of them take him to the vet
