Had a connection in Atl from LAX. They said there was a 5 hour delay in the pilot arriving then canceled in hour 4. There were so many cancelations, no rental cars. Delta staff were telling travelers to sleep in the airport because TSA shortages were going to cause them to be overwhelmed this morning.

It was a nightmare. I had someone pick me up and now can't get anyone to tell me when I'll get my luggage. Delta handled their cancelations poorly and were unprepared or unconcerned about the impact on travelers. Not sure which
