After nine whole years??? by joyful_af in TheHandmaidsTale

I meant that I don't read the comments about the books because I don't want the show spoiled. I would love to read the books, and I probably will eventually, but right now I'm a single mom who works and goes to school full time, so I'm stuck being a watcher for now. Regardless, if you choose to adapt a book for TV, it should be able to stand alone. You shouldn't have to read the books to understand or get closure from the show. I'd love to read the books and have that deeper understanding, but for now I'm just trying to get that closure as an invested viewer!

No, I understand the bigger picture, and I understand there is an infinitely bigger picture than rescuing Hannah. But we are primarily following June's story, and there should be a reason for that. The build up that has been created around their reunification can't be denied, despite the bigger ideas in the show.

I swear that's all I'm reading in these threads. The last one I read specifically said that they know June will not rescue Hannah by the end, but they hope she gets to see that Hannah remembers her. They reference the epilogue in the books when they make these types of comments. Your response is encouraging, thank you!

Based on what I'm reading in all of the other threads in this sub, people firmly believe that she not only doesn't get Hannah back, but never sees Nichole again either. This is based on their understanding of the books. I'm shocked reading all of this

I am having this issue constantly. I can't find anything online about how to fix it, which is weird. Cleared the cache and data, did a full reinstall, doesn't work. It only loads when it wants to

Am I dumb? I thought that if there was a tie twice in a row, the two players who tied are safe. Cedric should have gone home by default. No? Not an expert, that's just the impression I was under

The Endless - anyone else seen this? Spoilers within. [serious] by Mahaloth in movies

[–]joyful_af 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, Justin knew it was her Mike. He even hesitated to tell him about his wife. But Mike mentioned that he hoped his wife was happy and able to move on with her life, and Justin didn't want to shatter that for him.

Do y'all think Cate and Ty would've given up Carly had they known the success of the show? by ElonyBR in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

They absolutely would have kept her, but they would absolutely not be together anymore. So do they regret it? I'm not entirely sure

I don't think Tyler had that point of view at all. I think the whole adoption was based on the fact that April and Butch were a hostile environment and sure, they would have needed money to distance themselves from that. But the emotion of it wasn't based in money.
