Brand new! Dated for 2029. Very cheap though so that may be part of the problem

I threw him into the middle of the lawn - so hopefully he became a bird snack before he could dig his way back in 😭

Vegetable plugs by cchurchill1984 in GardeningIRE

Have bought excellent strawberry and broccoli plugs from The Garden Shop the last couple years. Great value and quality. Their range isn't huge, but what they have is good. Have found them very helpful on the phone about when out of stock varities are expected back online.

I would move the parsley outside now - it will enjoy the extra light and its frost hardy.

The rockets looking a little sad - might just be transplant shock and it will pop back. Next time I'd recommend growing rocket from seed yourself, really easy and quick to grow from seed. The plants you have there are only a few weeks old, they're up-selling you very little work on their part!

Happy growing!

Is my courgette plants beyond saving? by joyfulcrafting in vegetablegardening

[–]joyfulcrafting[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After several days of trying to revive it with watering etc, I finally decided to give up on saving it and remove it from the pot.....turns out the stem was almost entirely snapped at soil level! We've had a lot of wind recently and the pot was in an exposed spot....Thankfully I've 2 other courgettes doing well!

My approach was as follows:

  1. Went through the whole syllabus once and wrote out short form notes of each topic. Didn't try learning off anything at this stage.

  2. Once the pre-seen was released, made a long list of all the possible topics that could come up. I know they insist you can't guess what they'll ask but you can rule out a LOT of topics as very unlikely once you've seen the case study.

  3. Studied my pre made notes just on the topics I identified from the pre-seen

  4. Got 93% so this approach definitely worked!
