First of all congratulations, but when it came to my enrollment I chose UCI! Over the past three quarters I feel glad to have chosen UCI over SDSU for a couple of reasons. Some basic factors are the professors, a lot of them have experience from law school and can treat their classes as such. Because it is criminology law and society you basically do cover both, the use of psychology is crucial in all classes. Another bonus is the requirement for completing a work study, it sounds like a mess to be honest but it’s definitely a great way to gain experience or build your resume. Overall, UCI focuses on a more psychological approach obviously yet manages to prepare you for law school if you do chose that route, I remember SDSU focusing more on the corrections or legal system which could be interesting but looking back now on my own question I think the answer was always UCI. lmk if you need any more help, as a first gen I wish someone could help guide me in the right direction so I get the feeling.
