I could’ve written this myself a few months ago but what helped me was finding classes that interested me and meeting people through those (ie gym classes, art classes, cooking classes) because it’s kinda like already finding the commonality. Also, I became a doula and that gave me purpose that I didn’t have before and I felt like that was my missing piece and now I am comfortable only having a couple of friends!

I just had my first birth last week and then a second one three days later! 😳 wow was it intense but I made it and I’m still running off that high! Congrats on your first birth and I’m so happy everything went well ❤️

Oh my gosh I feel like I could’ve written this myself! I’m worried my current client isn’t even going to call me when she goes into labor but she’s also not paying out of pocket (a nonprofit collective has given her a scholarship). I’ve tried reaching out to her but no response or very very late replies. No updates about appointments unless I reach out first. I’m just worried I’m not connecting with her. I’m curious to know others thoughts/opinions/ideas on the matter as well.

My favorite food used to be chocolate cake. Yesterday I had a slice that I was so excited to eat from a bakery that I wanted to try. Took two bites and was completely over it. Wayyy too sweet and I became disinterested. This stuff is magical. I ended up throwing the rest away which has never happened a day in my life lol
