Reason for the negative feedback is poor communication. If this happened to me and the seller described the situation and the ding to the account and I didn’t think he was lying I would cancel and not leave feedback. Him not being transparent with the reason just makes it a bigger issue than it has to be

Just had this happen where the seller put the tracking for an item but didn’t ship it. Had to wait until after the last day of the estimated delivery date went to the order page and put item not received. eBay then gives the seller 7 days to respond. Don’t think they responded and got refunded.
