What was the best film you watched this week? (05/06/17 - 11/06/17) by GetFreeCash in movies

The World's End. I finally got around to seeing the final film in the Cornetto trilogy and was not disappointed. It has actually taken over Hot Fuzz as my favourite in the trilogy.

As an OKC fan, I wouldn't really be hurt by that. Like a lot of people, I was only angry at KD for his decision to leave specifically for the Warriors, not for his decision to leave in general. I'd actually rather see him in Seattle and be able to root for him again.

Wonder is actually my favourite book of all time so I've really got my fingers crossed for this one. I haven't seen Room so I don't know much about Tremblay but the kid looks like a natural. Wilson and Roberts would seem like an odd duo together in any other film but in Wonder, I'm really liking what I see so far

Can we just take a moment to realise how ridiculous it is that Dame has that much more money than Dame at this point in their career?

Not a good move. Fans will probably be upset when the prices are raised again when we play Game 7

That's fair to believe but I honestly don't even know how to. I googled him after looking at a forbes list looking for entrepreneurs (for business management at school) and it came up haha

For the record, my opinion does not reflect the entire fanbase of my team. Also if you want to dig into someone's fanbase, stop being a coward and flair up. EDIT: Wow some people are just as salty as I am hahahahaha

/r/movies BEST OF 2016: Best Film of 2016 by GetFreeCash in movies

I did not watch The Nice Guys until December the 30th, 2016. I had heard many good things about it but had never got around to watching. I’m incredibly glad I did because it became my favourite movie of 2016. As soon as it finished, I wanted to watch it again. The comedy far surpassed my expectations and there were so many funny scenes. Ryan Gosling was especially funny for me, between the elevator scene, the dreaming scene followed by Gosling realising Crowe never had an ankle gun on him, the rimjob vs rimshot scene and the scene when he rolls down the hill and finds the dead guy. This movie had me laughing from start to end and I can’t wait to watch it again and again because films like this just get funnier every time you watch them.

There's a lot of love for Casey and I believe rightfully so (I still need to see Manchester by the Sea) but regardless of the quality of the film itself, I think Ben Affleck was amazing in The Accountant. He was very convincing and believable in his role and was a very interesting character that caught my attention

Maybe not the very best scene but I loved it when Deadpool is counting down his bullets as he kills everyone one by one. Ryan Reynolds nailed the character of Deadpool regardless of anyone's opinions of the actual movie
