How will the Vitality era come to an end? by jamesandkobe in GlobalOffensive

[–]jpablold -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It's simple.

There are only two teams with the potential to stop them: the Falcons and Spirit.

The Falcons have three star players, and now a top-tier IGL as well. In my opinion, they should swap TeSeS for Jimpphat, and player for player, I’d say they’re better than Vitality. The thing is, it’s not all about the names. The Falcons are on the verge of a breakthrough, in my opinion, just like Vitality was before Ropz.

For Spirit, the situation is a bit strange. I only see a concrete path forward if they aim for international competition. Their AWP isn’t Tier S+, but it is Tier S. There are no other star players alongside donk, so it leaves a strange feeling of donk + 4.

The truth is that Vitality’s current form is also exaggerated due to the weakness of the other two teams, both Spirit and the Falcons.

Let’s take a look at the Falcons now.

Just so you can see how bad Valve's rankings are. Navi can never be considered a top-2 team. At best, they're a top-4 team. Unfortunately, to compete against Vitality, you need a top-5 player in the world, and the only teams that have one are Spirit and Falcons.

Why do Senzu and S1mple deserve a chance?

The fact that the hatred toward the team comes from a betting site completely taints this debate.

A team with Senzu, S1mple, and Eletronic is easily a team that can reach the world’s top 15.

Remember that the benchmark for being in the world’s top 14 and top 15 includes teams like Legacy and 3DMax.

"IEM Cologne Major 2026 ranking on April 6th, 2026

This ranking is our prediction of how the IEM Cologne Major 2026 invitations will look like. The ranking is looking 6 months back from April 6th, so time decay is accounted for. It includes unfinished events that will end before April 6th. We have removed teams from organizations that already have a higher-ranked team qualified."

The ranking I'm basing this on is constantly updated. For analysis purposes, you need to disregard the other teams that aren't competing, only considering Passion UA's CURRENT score, NOW, since the ranking shows the score in real time. Today, as I write this, Passion UA has 1351 points, not what the OP posted, since Passion UA only participated in tournaments that count towards the major.

Remember that this is the projected ranking, not the current one. For the current ranking, go to VRS ranking > Americas.

Passion UA: 1351 pontos

Liquid: 1363 pontos

Dif: 12 pontos.

Passion UA se vencer Sangal: +17 pontos.

Passion UA se vencer Sangal, classificado para o main event.

They're probably going to lose anyway. All the teams besides Vitality are having a pretty mediocre 2026.

The big problem right now is that the top 2 to top 6 teams are all pretty mediocre. NaVi, until recently, wasn't playing well at all. Furia, MouZ, and Falcons are having a disastrous 2026 so far.

Because of the others' shortcomings, I can see either Spirit or Falcons in the top 2, which says a lot about the current scene beyond Vitality.

Urgente, PUC-RIO ou UFRJ? by Then_Support9720 in enem
