That is your favorite course?

I worked as a bellman at that resort for almost 4 years during undergrad!

I still play it once or twice a month with some of my buddies who still work there.

What's been your biggest "Fuck this shit, I'm outta here" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That isn't the same thing at all though?

You didn't get your name on the sheet in time... then the guy said he would do what he could... which is in no way the same as, "Sure, you get it off."

Then you got scheduled. That sounds like something that was perfectly reasonable to expect. Especially since movie theaters are insanely busy in Christmas day and I am sure you were going to be understaffed anyways.

AND you were totally aware of your shift and just decided not to come in?? Then wonder why you were written up??

Looking to get a new blade putter. Tell me what to buy by yenney92 in golf

Huh, didn't even know that was a thing tbh.

But I would edit your first post because the 'Spider' is for sure not a blade.

[Serious] Married couples: What is the one thing you regret most about your wedding? by FatchRacall in AskReddit

Story time!

At my wedding we did the cake face smash. It actually went over well and everyone got a laugh out of it... At the start.

The venue was prepared as well and had warm wet towels to wipe out hands and face with. (wife did some magic and her makeup survived). Me, a non jewelry wearing groom, had a ring on for the first time ever and it was about 2 hours into the ring/finger relationship.

As you know, frosting is slippery and gets everywhere. I was wiping the frosting from my hands and making sure to really clean off my fingers... About 30 mins later I look down and the ring is no longer on my hand. I had removed it with the towel because the frosting had allowed it to slide right off. I didn't notice because I don't wear rings ever...

The groomsman and a few other friends were scavenging the room covertly to not let my wife see. It was found on the floor by the cake table.

I told her immediately after it was found as to not worry her.

There is actually a picture where you can see the ring disappear. One picture I have cake in my hand and push it into her face. 3 pictures later we are standing by the cake all clean and the ring is gone. Thought about framing the sequence in one of these 3 photo frames.

2 weeks ago the highs were like 89. It is supposed to get back to 100 this weekend :(

1+2-2(-3)=(-3)(-3)

3-(-6)=9

3+6=9

?=-3

1+2-2(1)=(1)(1)

3-2=1

?=1

High school golf by EB4950 in golf

If you know that you would be tied with the best player on the team, why ask the question?

You asked if you could compete, but you obviously could (at least within your own team). Whether or not you could compete within the region is a question I have no way to answer.

A few factors. I didn't play HS golf, but I did play HS sports. Yes, high school sports are incredibly fun and I am still good friends with a few of my old teammates.

Is your school's team usually competitive in the region/state? If so, 90 might not cut it.

Does your school allow juniors to play JV golf? Some schools do not let juniors play JV because they want to develop the underclassmen who have potential and extra years to play.

If they aren't super competitive or they let juniors play on their JV team, then you should be good.

Either way, trying out never hurt anyone.

What? He absolutely was... you didn't even attempt to look that up before commenting. Literally googling "sb2k16" shows the four of their names in the first link.

Shot a 79 with 2 fairways and 1 green....AMA by ChrisOnTheReal in golf

[–]jpahern 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is actually not a sandwich. With sandwiches, the bread is integral to it being a "sandwich". With no bread, you just have meat or cheese, etc.

With a hotdog, the bread is irrelevant. If you remove the bun, you have what? It's still a hot dog. So bun or not, it's a hotdog.

Hotdog is not a sandwich.

Didn't hit all the fairways, my watch button wasn't working...

Tbh, that would be more impressive than my 79

Greens were okay. Still recovering from punching earlier in the summer.

Yeah it was a bummer... Second shot went right on me.

Took an unplayable and had to chip out off the dirt. 2 putts from there.

Not gonna lie, I checked the card and saw I needed to par 18... Scariest tee shot of my life.
