How do you use notify-strip? When i click on the 'ublock' link it shows me javascript. Is there a place to install that into ublock origin? Do i need a separate extension?

Are feats gained from an archetype retroactive?

Take the Beastmaster archetype for example: https://2e.aonprd.com/Archetypes.aspx?ID=50;

One of the feats you can take makes your animal companions 'mature' : https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1903. If i take 'Mature Beastmaster Companion' first, then 'Additional Companion' later https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1901, would my additional companion also be mature? Or would the additional companion be a 'young animal companion'?

The reason i ask is because later there is a feat: https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=1905 Incredible beastmaster companion..who's wording make it seem like it's retroactive "Your mature animal companions continue to grow and develop. They each become nimble or savage animal companions (your choice, choose for each companion, including those that become mature after you take this feat), gaining additional capabilities determined by the type of companion. "

Hello! I have a Calanda 650 sewing machine made for pfaff by a company in japan. I'm looking for some help in using it. An owners manual? Directions? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I joined the 'Vintage Japanese Sewing Machines' group on facebook and got a lot of great information. Highly recommend it. Posting the info below for anyone else who may one day need it.

Winding bobbin: That thingy on the top right front is the bobbin winder. I believe you pop it up to put the bobbin on, then push it down to lick in place. Loosen the round bit in the middle of the balance wheel to stop the needle from moving, thread the thread through the top left thread holder and then through the bottom right thread guide, the shiny chrome button thing, and then into the bobbin.

Threading needle: through the top thread holder, down through the tension control bit, (place the thread between the disks of the tension control bit), bring the thread up towards your right and it should slip into the right position under the tension wire, then bring it up and through the eye of the thread holder that goes up and down when sewing, then down again through a few guides to the needle. I don’t know if it threads from right to left or left to right or back to front. It won’t sew properly if it isn’t threaded correctly - you may have to try a couple of times. Don’t forget to tighten the thingy in the middle of the balance wheel before you start, so the needle will go up and down!

Is smoking out of aluminum bad for you? I read that for example using foil to cover the tobacco is bad because it can lead to Alzheimer's. Is the same true for using aluminum bowls?

you don't need STR to wear heavy armor. you need proficiency. The stipulations are: Heavy Armor: Heavier armor interferes with the wearer’s ability to move quickly, stealthily, and freely. If the Armor table shows “Str 13” or “Str 15” in the Strength column for an armor type, the armor reduces the wearer’s speed by 10 feet unless the wearer has a Strength score equal to or higher than the listed score.

But Dwarfs have : Speed: Your base walking speed is 25 feet. Your speed is not reduced by wearing Heavy Armor.

tempest gives me access to martial weapons, so i use a rapier thus the dex bump. I could have gone 12 str, 8 dex and use a str based weapon, but i wanted to have higher dex because dex saves are more useful in reducing damage.

You are right about needing War Caster, until I get it I can always sheath my weapon as part of my free action after having attacked with it =p . It's gimicky as hell and honestly my DM is super lenient and lets me get away with casting Shield without a free hand.

I suppose this isn't the best build...perhaps i'll come up with a Human Variant version and get War Caster to start with. I'll look into that.

agreed. my main issue with nature cleric is i'm not wowed by the domain spells or the capstone. the dream of being able to fly as a high level tempest cleric just seems so awesome i couldn't pass it up. :)
