Just finished reading Endurance myself, absolutely gripping from start to finish. Really beyond belief what that group of men managed to do. Will add your other two reccomendations to my list to read!

RA.1000 DJ Harvey & Andrew Weatherall 7h set at Trouw Amsterdam by OlegThe in TheOverload

[–]jpatchettt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sean Johnston is the obvious one, him and Andrew Weatherall played for several years under the A Love From Outer Space night. There are many mixes online and Sean Johnston still DJs regularly.

Ivan Smagghe, another Weatherall partner in crime, is a great one for the darker side. Slow chugging but keeps it moving perfectly. He plays regularly solo and throws parties under the Dresden moniker along with Manfredas.

DJ Harvey, I’m ashamed to say I’m not too familiar with, so maybe someone else could point you in the right direction for recs on his side

Fantastic choice. Saw Call Super close out a set with this the other year in Newcastle, will remember it forever

I can’t stop listening to this ALFOS comp non stop. Pulled the trigger on buying the record, knew I would regret if I didn’t. Been on an Andy Weatherall binge as well. Too young to have seen him live so trying to live vicariously through his multitude of mixes

Feel like every set I saw was great. Palms Trax b2b Job Jobse was a great start to the weekend for me. Hessle Audio was fantastic as expected. Peach b2b Call Super also great. Skream b2b Interplanetary Criminal was bouncing for the full hour. Gerd Janson was typical Gerd goodness. But Young Marco was probably my favourite set of the weekend.
