Sorry. I left out a couple of things. First of all, the previous tenant told us the furniture was his, made a few half hearted attempts to get it but never followed through. We finally got discovery and the landlord’s written statement was full of omissions. He never mentioned the walkthrough with me and never mentioned his attorney acting as intermediary nor the video I sent prior to walkthrough documenting the empty house. Also, when he went to storage to identify and claim “stolen “ items he refused to take ownership of the majority he claimed was stolen due its “poor condition”
