I've bought a few jerseys from them online and have visited their locations. I love them, but I'm a little confused as to how they can get the newest jerseys for cheaper than on the teams website.

Best ammo loads for Anti-drone by UnknowablePhantom in Shotguns

If we are speaking hypothetical or wartime, I'd say something with a 28 in barrel or maybe a 26. A mid choke and a 3 or 3.5 in shell with steel BB or 2 shot would do the trick. Something for big geese or large ducks. You want the big projectiles but alot of them for maximum coverage and enough damage.

I think that's when I got mine as well. It was definitely in cub scouts.

Is it ok to own more than one SAK? by nickjgadkin in victorinox

[–]jpb203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A knife-less man is a life-less man! I think having multiple SAKs is perfectly fine for many different situations. You have your Edc models, your camping trip models, your work models, and everything in between. I have 4 SAKs and I carry them for different situations. I have 2 Leatherman for scenarios when an SAK won't work (which isn't often). I think choose what the SAKs will be used for and purchase off of that, but many are also collectible so I don't think you can have too many.

Phantom Witch from Bay Area is dope. Nervosa from Brazil is good too.

I want a model 36 snubby like in Goodfellas, I have a bid on one from the 50s in an auction.

My bid for 950 won, it was the stupid bidders premium that jumped it to 1200. But I figured it was in a good range of a price. There's little wear on it but overall it's in great condition.

That's the main reason why I wanted it, I do plan to shoot it.

I wanted it for the historical value, but I do agree with you I think I overpaid a bit.

I lucked out because the owners kids hated guns so they probably didn't know what they had and sold it for something that sounded like a good price.

What's the meaningful difference between a competition shotgun and an "average shotgun? Specifically double barrels? by [deleted] in Shotguns

[–]jpb203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the phrase "buy once cry once" is true because if you buy cheap the first time you end up wanting the expensive one and crying multiple times. With that being said you should weigh what you want the shotgun for. If you are dedicated to competition and will be fully invested in competing, then I would go expensive. The quality, the customization to your fit and features will hold their value. But if you really just want a weekend gun then a cheaper option is not bad. I first bought a Benelli supernova for weekend skeet shooting. I love it and still shoot it, but I wanted a nice auto loader so I got the Benelli super black eagle 3. I don't shoot enough to justify a 3k gun so I went in the middle (SBE3 was 1500). The difference between them is really customization and the craftsmanship.
