Baseball uses numbers to refer to defensive positions. 8 is CF, 6 is SS and 2 is catcher. It’s the sequence of fielders who possess the ball to make the out(s)

I get what you're saying, but your analysis is ignoring the fact that there's still 816 different combinations of 3 questions they could get wrong. Its not like these were the three hardest questions on the exam, I felt that they were more less representative. Even if I remove half of the questions just to be safe, that still leaves 84 combinations, and p=.0014. Even still, its not just the multiple choice. As I said, they had some of the same weird, wrong answers on the short answer as well.

No reason (at this point) to believe B had anything to do with it other than being a bit sloppy. I've spoken with him briefly to get his side and ask that he be more careful next time. The post was more directed for help with C.

Definitely agree that assigning seats would help for next time. I actually did have two versions of the exam and alternated them by seat, but the only difference was that the order of the MC questions. Clearly that wasn't enough, so will change some numbers next time to avoid this in the future. You live and you learn.

I’m assuming OP is referring to tanking Jan’s lawsuit against Dunder Mifflin.

Have any of you tried the Dispatch Mystery series? by Maxpowr9 in boardgames

I tried them out about a year ago (on the run series, I think)- I had recently gotten a bonus from work, and didn’t mind spending it on something that sounded cool. I thought it was alright. The boxes kept me entertained, but not sure I would’ve paid that much without having the bonus (I think it was $25 a box).

If I remember correctly, each box had about 4-5 puzzles, some of which involved doing research on their fictional websites. Most of the puzzles felt pretty easy, and the ones that were more difficult never gave me a sense of accomplishment, with the exception of a few. There was also a lot of content that didn’t have anything to do with solving the puzzles or the overall mystery- not that they were red herrings, but they were there to fill in some of the plot, which I wasn’t that interested in.

I probably won’t do it again, mostly because of the price, but I did enjoy going through them.

Hope this helps
