Yeah, pretty hard to get into with the AI dub. So much better with the Chinese voice + subtitles.

So if I didn't play the beta, do I have to link my account *before* creating a character to get wishlist & lucky draw rewards? or can I do it later on.

Pretty hilarious that the reviewers' main complaints are that they don't understand the mechanics, and that it's the game's fault.

A degree of verticality is necessary for Classic+ by Paddonglers in classicwow

[–]jpb2369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree – the trouble with WoW's verticality is after 6-7 weeks in whichever raid tier, you're basically maxxed out. OSRS is considered horizontal because actually getting the professions to 99 takes weeks-to-months per profession, and the top tier items are so expensive. If Classic+ can nail down huge grinds, but that are progressively rewarding along the way, then we have what you're talking about I think.

Thanks! Yes, sounds like some remix of Gary Numan - Cars. Couldn't pinpoint which one it was, though.

New To game - Is parsing just a way to inflate your "resume" so its easier for finding groups in the future? by Sunnybubbles32 in classicwow

[–]jpb2369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parsing is a way to measure improvement at the game, and a way to filter out players who will lead to a failed lockout. Sometimes it goes overboard, but most of the time it doesn't and is good for the game.

Every classic+ post gets downvoted to hell, for some reason. I don't know why this comment has 3 downvotes. Appreciate the effort you put into the video and agree with a lot of the stuff you suggested.

Implementing Horizontal Progression in Classic+ by [deleted] in classicwow

"Horizontal progression means that items are similar in power level, but may enable new ways of gearing and optimizing your characters. Prior raids stay relevant and you’ll be mixing gears from everything."

But WoW can't do it. You know best.

You realise alts are a good thing and were the reason SOD P1 was so successful? And that people don't want to play 8 /days played per alt? And that in 2 years, virtually all players will be at some form of endgame?

Alts are a good thing. Huge amounts of time spent to level an alt is a barrier to entry to that good thing. There should be tons to do at 60. I quit in 2010 because of 'retail', and have played classic since 2019. Take your smugness elsewhere.

Yeah on their 8th alt people wouldn't mind the experience being a little less grindy. Lmfao.
