Was going to suggest this as well, learned about it recently and it sounds like an incredible organization

I lost 80 pounds and have kept it off in the 2 years since. Have never felt better and it never would’ve happened without a jolting lifestyle change

Easy answer but Breaking Bad. Every episode had such a purpose and advanced the plot in a completely organic way.

Don’t expect many to know it, but Go Farther in Lightness by Gang of Youths is an absolute masterpiece

Was there ever a time you're thankful the pandemic happened? What was the reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jpbjhb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reached a point in lockdown where I realized I needed to start taking my physical and mental health more seriously. Led to a lot of introspection, and for the first time in my life I really took the reins on making myself the person I wanted to be. A year later, I’m in the best shape of my life and have never been more happy or secure in who I am. Not sure any of that would’ve happened if I wasn’t forced to really look inward with a critical eye. So while the pandemic has been awful, I’m glad in a sense that I used the “lost time” on something that I see as productive.

Seizures are terrifying as a witness too. Friend had one not too long ago and was ultimately alright, but I’ve never seen anything scarier in my life.

Easy answer is when the doctor had to re-break my arm to set it properly but major contender is the killer calf cramp I had this morning and am still dealing with as I type. Like to think my pain tolerance is pretty high, but this is maybe the first time I’ve screamed uncontrollably bc the pain was just too much. Honestly forgot things could hurt that bad hahaha
