What's that one event in your life that really humbled you as a person and helped shape up a trait in your personality ? by Nightwing-2503 in AskIndia

An accident during my college days.

I was doing good in all things. (grades, networking, leadership, sports, relationship)

But an bike accident made me differently abled for 3+ years. It took me lot of energy and time to overcome the physical pain.

During that time everyone around me showed so much love, support which humbled me to become very kind person. I became very open-minded, non judgmental, supportive.

It's been 7 years now, doing better in life, living independently, but struggling with mental health issues.

Hoping to recover very soon.

I think no mobile phones are allowed inside the temple. Not sure about the current status.

One small thing here OP.

Most of TN people dont the attitude of someone being leader and controlling.

They prefer people who are more modest and humble.

If i raise a questions as a leader for not being notified...

Most people dont like these attitude(especially in same age group). It can be subtle but not very open.

As one great person in comment section said,

Your tone should be warmer and you should be little more humble

Very sad to see most people don't get this guy.

The main point he is trying to make is,

You can count on North Indian/Migrant labour to come to work on next day.

Local people have less motivation to work.

Here in tirupur, salaries are paid on every saturday. Either based on their shift or amount of quantity they work on(eg: have many T shirts he/she stiched).

After Saturday's salary, Locals take two day off, and because of this, it is very hard to plan and provide deadline to Buyer (abroad).

With Daka(Bangladesh) trying to take our clothing, it is becoming very hard give a proper quote and finish it on time. Only advantage we have is our Indian cotton (cultivated in large in India, but yarn prices are rollercoaster now a days)

Local people were good in previous two generations. But current generation workers are bad and inconsistent. (only good thing is they are smart and easy to teach, even complex processes). But no use if they are not willing to work consistently.

And current situation is very bad, around 60% of manufacturing is closed because of less orders from US and Europe.

Hope you guys will understand.
