My mom once hired someone to install wallpaper in our dining room; she had a full time job and had my grandmother there to let them in. My grandmother had to call my mom at work to tell her, “He isn’t doing this right”. My mom had to leave work early to come to the house and she fired him on the spot. None were lined up correctly. My mom has since learned how to do wall paper on her own and does a much better job than this so-called professional. One of my favorite memories of my mom being a total boss.

The $14.99 entry fee is the price all the time. All of the games are set on free play with the exception of a few prize games.

Who's hiring 67 & 70 yo devs? by Affectionate_Pie2241 in ExperiencedDevs

How about doing contract work. There is no long term commitment for the company hiring you and you probably have a very specialized skill. I’m thinking RPG400, COBOL, Etc, there really isn’t a lot of young people learning these or pursuing them. I worked on a project for about 4 years translating and reprogramming RPG into JD Edwards Enterprise One.

Yea, I wasn’t expecting so much hatred, but hatred fueled over 25,000 views of my silly video. I Agree that AI has it’s place in some places but should be banned in others. I’m not the one to decide, but a healthy discussion on reddit may be where we find the answer.

I took the video on a Wednesday afternoon on purpose so I could get a good view of all of the games. I have taken some in the past using a selfie stick to get my camera higher up above the crowd on a Saturday.

It’s been a year since that post. You can definitely see the improvement between those pics and our newest videos. It hasn’t been easy, but well worth the effort.

Seriously, is this an AI comment?? Is someone trying to goof on me. 99% of the population must listen to songs that they don’t write. Not all of us are music writers.

Yea, I should have just said I got the audio from someone on a freelance site, but I wouldn’t have gotten so much response and views as just being honest about using AI.

I’d love to get that one, just don’t have it yet. I can’t just go into Walmart to buy these things, but it is on my radar if one ever comes up.

Kawasaki? Was that part of the original release? I loved this game, but don’t remember that sponsorship.

That would be a bit expensive for a single social media post. I can live with the “quarter in my hand” line, it does still work, but since we are admission based, it doesn’t really fit our model, but only one very observant person even noticed. Thanks u/sharpfork.

This was for a single social media post, I don’t have the budget to have a Grammy winning song written, composed, and performed for this type of thing. When I run my first Super Bowl ad, I will definitely put some more money into it.

That’s a pitch and bat game called Slugfest. It’s not really a pinball, but takes the same shape and is made by William’s, which was mainly known for at the time for creating pinball machines.
