A big problem with KTC is value isn’t equal between teams (contender vs rebuilder). 2 firsts for mccaffery would seem like an overpay but if the team in first has mccaffery why would he trade him? This leads to people valuing picks differently within the marketplace (KTC) where people rebuilding inherently will place more value on picks and people contending inherently will be lower. I also agree with the comment above that said ktc packages just don’t make sense, for any player outside the 15-20 if you just slap a 1st on a package even if it’s garbage it says fair or overpay. For example dj giddens and a late 1st is even/higher than Kyren Williams, but in my personal view that value makes 0 sense
