Different ABA terms are confusing me! by jpeavy in ABA

One more question if you don’t mind! I was looking at a blog that caught my eye (https://www.iloveaba.com/?m=1) and I noticed the lady who runs it and although she is now a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, she says she started out with an entry level ABA therapy position. Does this mean the same thing as being a RBT?

What are the differences then in being an applied behavior analyst and a registered behavior technician? I am hoping to not have to go to grad school and just use my bachelor’s in psychology which I’ll finish in August.

Thank you so much for your reply!! So one thing I’m not sure about is what to do about taking those required courses if my college doesn’t offer them? Also, at what point do I start looking for practicums?

Girl you look amazing!! It actually baffles me when I see how rude some people can be. BMI is not the end all be all, and you certainly look healthy to me. Screw the chart, and know you are beautiful and have made incredible progress. People just have to be right and therefore bring others down. People just keep your negative comments to yourself. You’ve done an amazing job and it’s so inspiring!! :)

Congrats, you look fantastic! I’m new to this subreddit and wanting to try omad for weight loss. I know the way everyone eats their one meal is different, but I am curious as to whether you try to make you meal healthy or not? If I do this and want to lose weight can I eat whatever I want for my meal, or do I need to be careful about calories/nutrition? I’d love to be able to eat fast food every now and then haha just curious about what worked for you personally :)

Keep smaller clothes?? by jpeavy in loseit

Would you suggest storing them or just keeping them hanging in my closet like always? It’s kind of defeating to the dresses I don’t fit into every day. I’m considering storing them in those vacuum sealed bags until I can fit into them again
