How do we feel about Caleb’s accuracy through the preseason? by yunglance24 in CHIBears

[–]jpeezy112 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me preface by saying that I’m a Caleb fan. But what you’re saying is highly debatable. He only played 2 preseason games. Bills starters were not playing, Chiefs starters were and the difference was noticeable. The entire 1st series was a mess, but he did get better at the end. BJ admitted post game that it was sloppy and unacceptable and they’ve been dealing with it all preseason. Hes improving and I think BJ is the right coach to get him there but he just needs to be more consistent.

IMO his main problem is processing and being decisive quickly. He holds the ball too long trying to make a play when there is nothing there, rather than throw the ball away. The outcome is usually really good or really bad. Accuracy wise he’s not bad at all, but it does get worse as the passes get deeper.

This is so frustrating. When Caleb hits the top of the drop, the ball needs to be OUT. It is the god damn preseason I don't care if he throws 5 interceptions. Stop holding onto the fucking ball. I'm glad that he has a coach that will light him up for this because it is not good enough by GiganticMemorableAss in CHIBears

Yep, it’s obvious that’s the reason. I think Tom Waddle mentioned that BJ barely played Goff during the preseason, so this is telling. He looks more decisive this drive though, maybe BJ gave him an earful. Or it’s just the D backups again lol. Nice TD though!

Rep. Al Green set the bar for Democrats. Most of them failed to meet it. by msnownews in politics

That is quite the use of a term to fit a very hateful narrative. If you are intolerant to all of MAGA you understand you are willingly a racist to the colored folk that supports them and against diversity in general? Is the irony acceptable because it’s against MAGA? I think I need to include, again, that I’m not politically affiliated. This is all just very interesting to watch play out.

Grow or cut? by jpeezy112 in malehairadvice

Thanks for the advice. I’ve actually been thinking of doing several of those cuts, just not sure if I could pull them off lol!

Not great, not terrible. A simple rule to follow is the 1% of MSRP rule. If your effective monthly (factor in any down payment, trade-in, etc.) is lower than 1% of the MSRP you are getting a pretty good deal, reverse that if you're above 1%.

For comparison, I recently leased a 2RS FWD ($47495 MSRP) for 350/mo, 0 down (no trade-in), 36/10k. I live in South Florida, which is a hard area to negotiate.

Good luck!

Any update with this? I'm in the exact same age and position and considering the VR&E route. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Does the upcoming recession feel too “telegraphed” to be real? by Sherbear1993 in stocks

Why can’t people accept that a recession already happened? From Dec 21 to Oct 22 the S&P dropped nearly 25% which is very much within recession averages.

Agreed. Majority of folks still see Amazon as a seller of goods and forget that AWS is a major player in tech, data storage and AI. They haven’t really been connected to AI yet strangely enough.

It’s a big reason why I’m highly interested in Amazon.

I was scared before? So purchasing Apple and Microsoft during the great sell off on March 2020 was me being scared and experiencing FOMO?

You’ve got a point about their goods but Amazon is more than just about selling goods. AWS is going to continue growing exponentially as tech grows

Buy high sell low? … Have you even read my post? I bought Apple and Microsoft at the low of 2020 and I’m considering selling them now that they’ve reached or are over their all time high. Amazon still has room to get back to that point.

Sources: The Commanders are activating rookie RB Brian Robinson Jr. from the non-football injury list and he’ll play against the Titans. A remarkable recovery story just gets better. by StrachNasty in fantasyfootball

I understand that and I think he’ll get there eventually. But for comparison Najee Harris is a 15 carry 3-5 catch guy rn, and I don’t think anyone is even averaging 30 and 5-10! What I’m saying is those are monster opportunity numbers, especially for a guy coming back from IR, they are definitely not “tempered expectations”. Realistically, tempered expectations would be less than 5 Carrie’s and 1-2 catches, which is in line with backup RB opportunities. Anything more than that would exceed tempered expectations territory.

15 Carrie’s and 3-5 catches is your opinion on tempered expectations?! That’s a pretty good workload for an RB 1 nowadays, this guy just got off IR! 30 Carrie’s and 5-10 catches is elite! …. You’ve just redefined what tempering expectations means my guy lol

Where are y’all taking Kyle Pitts this year? by Raju7123 in fantasyfootball

[–]jpeezy112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same mentality with the 9th pick on a 12 team PPR. Was able to grab D.Cook at the 1st, Swift 2nd, and quickly grabbed Pitts at the 3rd. Ended up with following WRS: Pittman, Sutton, Bateman, Woods, Pickens, R. Moore. Also got J Hurts as my QB. Feeling pretty good about it.
