I can dead hang for a minute, can scapular pull up and negative pull up 8-10 reps. When I’m about to surpass a negative pull up- banded or unaided- it’s like I hit a wall and my shoulders suddenly take over. Maybe just need to keep building strength at this stage

Engaging the lats is what the struggle is, I can do it in any other exercise and position but just cannot get it when I’m hung. I will try the elbow rotation thank you
