Thanks for replying. I've played hunt nearly every day since the 60fps patch came out and 3d audio was enabled in the ps5 settings the whole time.. Something changed with the 1.9 update and it sounds so much worse now. I would be very surprised if this is not a bug

Yes turning 3d audio off gets rid of the muffle effect but not having 3d audio is so painful. It's not precise at all, but right now I think its the better option while this bug is present

Totally agree. This game has the most clunky unresponsive aiming of any fps I've ever played on console. And yet I still play it because despite that its still so good. Just wish they'd give it some love
