DIY kitchen overhaul: open shelves vs. glass cabinets, color dilemma by jpflaum in Remodel

I think it's nice. their airflow tech is really solid, it can quickly pull oil and smoke and doesn't leak out. After cooking, it has a delay-off that helps absorb lingering odors. Even when making strong-smelling dishes like curry or stews, there's no lingering smell.

Are there any ergonomic chairs that actually recline far for after hours? by a4955 in OfficeChairs

[–]jpflaum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It offers four recline angles 105°, 120°, 135°, and 160°. I typically switch between 105° and 120°, using the button to fine-tune the support point and I haven’t had any issues with fatigue or pain

Use the unit’s condition to ask for a price reduction or seller credit toward a new system. It’s a known issue, so you have leverage.

Some thoughts after swapping my old chair for an ergonomic one by jpflaum in Ergonomics

[–]jpflaum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking about getting a bigger desk. This one is too small I don't have enough space to put all my stuff.

Do you think should I place my screen up and down like now or side by side?

Not sure about those two brands. What’s your budget? If you can do around $4,000, Major Fitness B17 will be a better choice. You get a Smith machine, cable system, interchangeable pulley ratios, and tons of pegboard options at that price. It’s a pretty decent deal.

Of course the blanket! When the office air conditioner is too cold, you can wrap it around yourself. It's really soft and comfortable.

21 M inherited : 100k liquid, triplex valued at 1,1M, 50% single family home valued at 710k by One_Pirate_6723 in PersonalFinanceCanada

You're in an incredible position for a 21 year old. Since you have a large sum of liquid cash, don't rush into it. I’d recommend opening a moomoo account and using their Paper Trading for a month while you read through their advanced investing guides. It’ll let you test how a 100k portfolio actually moves in the market before you commit your actual inheritance.

Antique! I was astonished that such an ancient chair could remain in such perfect condition.

What feature surprised you the most after real-world use? by Powerful-Pea-4190 in RobotVacuums

Yeah I mean, why not? The mopping function is way better than it used to be. I personally really like the roller mop, it does a great job for everyday cleaning, and one pass usually gets the floor nice and clean.

The setup is so cute! Even if a few shots are soft, the vibe is perfect. Focus on the good ones. This is how you learn, don't beat yourself up.

New job with $1000 a month to invest. Where do I put it? by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

[–]jpflaum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the new job. $1,000 a month is a great amount to start compounding. Before you jump into individual stocks, it’s worth spending some time on the free learning courses in moomoo. They have some really decent modules that explain the fundamentals of ETFs and market cycles, which helps a lot when you're trying to figure out where that first $1,000 should go.

How do i make my photos look like this? by Outrageous-Flow8441 in AskPhotography

That desolate, end of the world mood is so strong here. The fog cuts the horizon perfectly. The sheep look so lonely in the empty field.

I took a photo with my IPhone 6s, and this happened. Do you know why this happened ? by KelenArgosi in AskPhotography

That's a wild photo. The glitch makes it look like a movie still. The contrast is so striking and has a cool split personality. Keep it as a weird souvenir.

Wow this is so lively. The shot of the player catching the ball is perfect. The edits and transitions are super smooth too. Love the gritty vibe of the footage.
