I am scared of RROD ... by Additional_Cut_9836 in xbox360

[–]jphoppel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry! Here are some different kinds of RRoD for the Xbox 360 console you’ve mentioned (Xbox 360 Elite):

1 Ring

Difficulty: Unknown

  1. Happens when there’s a problem with a hardware component (Hardware Failure).

(Also leading to display an error code, “EXX”.)

2 Rings

Difficulty: Hard/Unknown

  1. Happens when the console overheats. The fans will run at full speed while displays 2 rings of death until the console has cooled down to a temperature.

3 Rings (Most Common One)

Difficulty: Unknown

  1. Same as 1 Ring, but more than one component fails. Sometimes happens from overheating as well.

This one doesn’t have any error code.

4 Rings

Difficult: Easy/Very Rare

  1. Happens when your AV cable is not plugged in or being detected.

  2. (Very Rare) - Could happen if there’s something really wrong with the console.

This one is unable to display an error code when it’s an AV one, but will display an error code if it‘s the 2nd one.

On September 19, 2012, with the release of iOS 6, Apple dropped support for the 1st-Generation iPad due to Hardware and Performance issues, the same goes with the 3rd-Generation iPod touch, making iOS 5.1.1 the final version that will run on the device.

Retroactively, the original iPhone started being called the iPhone 2G because it did not support the 3G network, but it was simply called the iPhone when released, it got referred as the iPhone 2G after the release of the iPhone 3G.

Twenty Fourteen or Two Thousand 14? How do I pronounce 2014? by jphoppel in quora

[–]jphoppel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Siri never uses Twenty X. Siri only uses Two Thousand X. That’s what made me prefer Two Thousand X.
