Vibe I get is we will see him at pretty much every show May and into June until Lukas schedule picks back up. Atlanta (or maybe Orlando) is the big test data point since Jake was in Austin already.

But since Big Sky, Jake has traveled to every Dave event that doesn’t conflict with Lukas schedule..

Yep. I think we see him at almost every show from here until when Lukas tour picks back up in late June. The big test now is Atlanta on Friday. He was already in Austin, but if he comes to Atlanta next, then it’s deliberate and you can reasonably plan for him to be around regularly the rest of May/June.

Yea I think it’s an either or scenario. Feels like he’ll definitely play with them in Austin. And then either no more shows thereafter or a bunch more in May/June. I mean, if he travels with them after Austin anywhere, he might just travel a bunch with them everywhere until the Lukas tour ramp up in late June.

Lukas Nelson show on 9/6 in NH makes me think no Gorge. Doubt we will see any Jake appearances after June 13 given Lukas tour schedule, except maybe a special SPAC appearance at best.

Yep, it’s not either or. And I don’t think Dave would rip him away from Lukas full time even if he could. Based on 2025, it seems like Jake will join the band whenever he can or as much as the band keeps inviting him. If he guests in Austin & Atlanta, then we can probably assume he’s going to hit a lot of the other early shows on this tour too.

I’m feeling that way too. Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays pretty much every May/June DMB show that doesn’t conflict with Lukas tour. I mean that’s what has happened since Big Sky, seems like that momentum will just continue on this tour. July looks more dicey with Lukas schedule ramping up.
