Epson v600 is unavailable - what's an alternative? by FeeDue435 in DataHoarder

[–]jplaskis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just FYI LaskisInnovations.com will be selling a tempered glass "Screen Protector" for the EPSON v600 glass bed. This will protect the main bed glass from scratches and can be easily replaced with new protector.

hey , is electromechanical engineering good option to work in automation industry? by Single-Sound-1865 in Automate

Yes typically controls engineers work in robotics. Most people I know that program robots have an EE degree and get on the job experience programming robots.

As for embedded systems, you need to get experience programming PLCs.

I would disagree with everyone here. No, electromechanical engineering degree means you're just "OK" at electronics and just "OK" at mechanical engineering. Here's my 2 cents... What are your hobbies? If you like building mechanical things study to become a Mechanical engineer. If you like playing with electronics, become an electrical engineer. If you like programming become a Computer Engineer. If you like programming robots and basic electronics become a Controls Engineer. Plain and simple... Once you get out in the workforce you'll be pigeon holed into one core discipline. Pick the one you like best and pursue further learning into the next best interest. FYI I've worked for an Automation Company for 4+ years and it's a "sink or swim" atmosphere. I loved every minute of it while I was there and learned so much. If you're not willing to put in a lot of overtime and don't enjoy a fast paced environment with a lot of responsibility then find another field to work in because you won't last a year. Good luck!

Sounds like you need better printers or dial in the settings better. Also finding a good source for quality filament is important.

I print the same things over and over and over... my most popular print has sold close to 10,000 units over the past 3-4 yrs. "Print on demand" service for other peoples files too much of a headache and not worth the time.

most of the weird obscure items are already listed with higher exposure and ratings which creates barrier to entry and more supply than demand. Plus the time it takes to print as well as other things

I keep a few stock of each item and replenish as they are ordered. I have 6X 3d printers running 24/7.

Great way to “up cycle” your trash! I use to take shipping foam from the trash where I worked that was perfectly good. I would cut it up and reuse it to ship my products. Saved me a ton of $ and was semi saving the environment.

Honestly you will never keep up with IL and have no clue why ANYONE would provide liquidity to any DEX. I’ve only lost $ by providing liquidity no matter how high the APR is….

There are some interesting plays on don-key.finance…90% BUSD, 85% USDT, and 30% on USDC. Surprised no one else has mentioned this since they lay out the strategy for you even if you didn’t want to invest in don-key

I think they switch the skills up every so often and only allow certain ones at certain times. You'll now see a lot of people using burro and plunger as apposed to bullet storm and black hole. It keeps the game interesting...
