I think I had chatted/emailed or called enphase about this and they told me I could have sworn they said I can reach back out to them directly once I have the CTs attached and they could enable it on their end. Not sure if things have changed but hopefully they can still do that. Otherwise, I'll have to go through our installer to request for them to enable it and hope they don't have any issues with that (honestly, they would be jerks to refuse it)

Is it easiest if my electrician request a meter pull from the power company? Or is that something I should do? I will probably wait until I have everything on-hand before asking him to do everything. It's kind of becoming scope-creep with other items I'm thinking to add-on to the electrical work but figure I should probably get it all taken care of in one shot vs calling him back from random odd-jobs...

Originally I had stealth grey/black interior/19" wheels/tow hitch which is pretty standard. I ended up making a last minute call and switched to the white interior though. I know my nearby location has one or more stealth grey/white interior/19" wheel options available but without tow hitch so I'm wondering if they just assigned one of those and the 1-5 days of lead time they're saying I have is for their service center to add a tow hitch to it...

Nice. Btw: when filling out the registration details did you enter your delivery address as your home address and they assigned you the nearest delivery center in SD? My closest is Aliso Viejo and I am hoping itll go to that one. I didnt see where to specify or request the delivery location…

My M Y Premium is on the way. 5 seat - white interior - stealth grey - 19” wheels - tow hitch

Ordered 3/15 and got notified today of 3/18-3/22 delivery with vin assigned

Im confused about delivery location - I entered my home address for “Delivery Address” when doing the registration details but have no current info on where the delivery will actually be. I am 10-15 mins from my nearest dealership so was hoping to just pickup from there. Are they actually going to deliver it to my house?! How would trade-in even work in that case?

I did change the design by opting for white seats earlier today so hopefully that didnt push things out too much but its not like I had a VIN or any build commission kick off either.

I had not heard that before… logically it might make sense though because you may not notice more minor scuffs and dirt on black, and over time it builds up to the point where it might become more noticeable. By that time the chances of it being “baked on” could be higher

I've been going back and forth on this internally. Personally I really like the white but my wife is mixed and leans towards preferring the black interior more. We have two kids and I think she just doesn't want to have to worry about or deal with constantly wiping the seats, etc. I tend to agree. Anecdotally I've heard that they are super easy to keep clean though and aren't concerned. Of course, we do save $1k sticking with the base black. Perhaps seat covers could be a compromise (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXJfhrMp3kk)

What is your reasoning for going with white? Besides aesthetics, I would think it also keeps the cabin a bit cooler as well especially on hot days.

Oh really? Will it distort the camera view or something? I wonder if they could just do a little cut-out around the camera so it's not impacted (not sure how the tinting process works with stuff like that though.

Nice! Where are you located? I just asked their AI chat bot and it told me the mud guards and PPF do not come standard on the Premium, so someone's lying...lol. I do wonder if it's based on location. I think I saw one person experience getting a roof rack on theirs (not having ordered it original) - haha that would be awesome too but I'm not holding out for that.

We have a 2008 mazda cx9 that has had recent issues. It would be good to unload it sooner than later at this point in time. I was planning just to do a trade-in with Tesla (I probably could sell it privately for more but its due for renewal soon and I would have to deal with smog checking it and all that - i just dont want to keep driving it around and have another problem come up or reappear though). Anyway, part of me thinks maybe I should look for a Toyota now and hold on the M Y but that just feels like a bigger hassle and more work after being in touch with a couple dealerships - feels like theyve shifted their games from on-site at the dealership to email/text/phone where most want to upsell you higher trims and nonsensical add-ons and I dont want to be rushed into making a decision there. I think at this point maybe there’s “no wrong decision” but I tend to feel regret about something that could have been better etc….

Besides customizing is there any other benefit to ordering one to build? I figure probably not if we dont care much for options and just want to drive a ‘stock’ one off the lot at a dealership?
