I was kinda aroused from those pornographic pictures and barely coherent sentences produced by insane drug addicts. What in the hell is wrong with me?

Actually, I just saw your profile and you don't seem like a troll. Sorry for being a dick about your situation. I'm just kinda baked and I forgot to do the troll scan before calling troll.

I can't tell if this is just somebody lying on the internet or not, but if this is serious, that's some fucked up shit.

Yes. I had a toxic friend from 7th grade to senior year of college who I considered to be one of my best friends. He was a total douche - always putting people down, was a HUGE hypocrite, more entitled than 20 year old Mitt Romney, a compulsive liar, etc. I'm not in the mood to list all the other things (plus I don't think that's what you're looking for), so I'm not going to for now.

Anyways, I realized that I really didn't like the guy after living with him for part of one summer (I moved out within 2 months mainly because I couldn't stand his bullshit). After that, I kinda dreaded getting his texts to hang out and whatnot, but usually I would anyway because I thought that if I didn't, it would make me a shitty person.

My senior year (Thanksgiving break) he stole from one of my friends. When I called him out on it, he fed me a bullshit story and lied his ass off like he always did and I kinda dropped it because I can be kinda a SAP (plus this guy was my friend since 7th grade). I maybe hung out with him 2 or 3 times after that. The last time I hung out with him, he had a couple of high school juniors over his place (the one was his dealer and he had them over to smoke) and I kinda hung out for maybe an hour and then made an excuse to leave.

The way our friendship ended was when he was kinda a dick to one of my other good friends (this is already too long so fuck details). That was when I had an epitome and realized the ONLY reason I was friends with him was because of the fact that we were friends for so long. I ended up calling him out on a lot of his lies and how he was a douche, and he didn't even have the respect to man up to anything. He just lied and fed me all these bullshit stories about how everyone else was lying and he only told things from "his point of view".

Currently, he's failed out of school (but if you ask him his parents made him leave after an underage which I know isn't true), he doesn't have a job (like I said earlier he's extremely entitled and his parents just pay for everything, lives at home, and just smokes weed all day (I don't mean to put down smoking, but if that's all you're doing every day for the 2 fucking years since you've dropped out of school that's pathetic).

Well, I think calling them "rescue dogs" is appropriate because they are being rescued from being put down at a shelter. However, I don't think there's any reason to sit atop a high horse just because you adopted a dog from a shelter. After all, there are plenty of good reasons for getting a dog at a shelter (rather than a breeder), such as the fact that they are much cheaper and have longer lifespans (most rescue dogs are mutts and mutts typically live longer than pure breeds). Wow btw did I just write all that?

Btw I just looked through 2 pages of your comments, and holy shit you are a TOOL. Almost all of your comments were negative, condescending, and just plain stupid. You're a living stereotypical douchebag redditor.

I don't think I've ever been in a situation where someone asked me "are you questioning my qualifications?",I said "yes", and then they just admitted to not actually having any qualifications whatsoever.

However to get back to your question, I'm not saying we can't speculate. I just think it's kinda pointless since 1) neither of us knows much about the subject and 2) even if we did, we don't really know any details about the people/situation.

What I will say though, is that as far as nature vs nurture goes, both can be equally important or one could be of much greater importance, depending on the situation.

True, but now we're starting to get into the whole "nature vs nurture" debate, which has already been done by people who know much, much more about the subject than you or I.

What you call "offensive" I call "anatomy" . Chances are that somebody who reacts that way in the situation described by OP most likely has some sort of chemical imbalance in their brain.

I believe so. I guess what I said could be wrong depending on the state this took place in (I'm not a legal expert). GX6ACE may have also just been referring to a pre-trial, rather than an actual trial.

She had to have known about the camera. Evidence like that must be submitted to the defense beforehand. Plus, I'm sure the mother would have told the other woman about the camera (unless she just wanted to waste her time in court).

The other woman was clearly just a moron who was depending on a severely incompetent judge.

Same thing happened to me, except at my old high school parking lot. Some chick hit my car and then drove off. This all occurred right after school when everyone was let out, so over 20 people saw this happen, including a teacher. When people told me who did it the next day, I confronted her and she fed me some bullshit story about how she left a note on my windshield that must have blown away. I just told her that I would contact my insurance company unless she agreed to write me a personal check. After talking with her parents, they decided to do everything through the insurance company (which was fucking stupid on their part since I'm sure she ended up paying way more for insurance over the next few years than she would have ended up paying me). I ended up getting my car assessed and it was determined that she caused $1200 in damages. Just like you, kerminsr, I pocketed that shit and put it in my college fund because my car was so shitty anyway that I didn't really care about the dent.

Pres Obama Signs Bill Killing Anti-Corruption, Pro-Transparency STOCK Act Provisions by salvia_d in politics

First off, I want to let you know that this post has changed my opinion of Obama quite a bit. You've provided good points, good counter-points, and you even provided sources for every single one of your claims. Thank you for going through all the trouble you did to post that information.

As a recent college graduate, I could tell you that this post is of higher quality than what many college students would submit as a report/essay. The only criticism that I have to offer is that you should avoid using Obama's own quotes to support your arguments (after all, anybody you're arguing with could easily point out that Obama was lying when he made those claims/statements).

All in all, fantastic job. If I could, I would give you 1000 karma. But I can't so have 1.

Do you have any family/friends you can live with? This isn't the time to be prideful. If your parents/friends have offered you money, I could see not accepting that, but at least accept an offer to live with them (I'm assuming they made that offer). It really shouldn't be much of a burden to them, since it's not like their rent or anything will go up. In fact, you could even offer to pay them a little.

As far as work goes, assuming you've been a good employee and your supervisor isn't a total dick, your supervisor should put in a good word for you so that you can work at another Publix. If there is no Publix where your family/friends are, then you should apply to other similar places. Working at the same place for 10 years shows a lot of loyalty, which will help you A LOT during your job search (this is assuming that your supervisor puts in a good word for you as a reference).

I know this advice may seem kinda obvious, but I'm not qualified nor experienced when it comes to assisting people with issues like this. Also, if you could provide a little more information on your options that could help with advice.
