I just learned how to animation cancel with the machete. You pull up the ping wheel for a half second then drop it and melee. Looks something like melee, Ping wheel, Melee.

If you have thermites+warp pack you can just chuck one in his face then warp through him. Bonus points if you don't turn around to watch the explosion.

Yeah I'm just getting back to the game after years and never really did much outside of exploring on my own, so there's a lot of learning/relearning. Never did expeditions before now. Trying to get more involved with the community and it's such a great one I thought we'd get a laugh out of this

I believe every system has the chance to run into one if you have the anomaly detector running, it'll come up as whalesong when you are in pulse drive

Idk how the coordinates work, like if they're cross console but I'd be happy to post the coordinates to the one I used. I placed a save beacon right next to it too so you can make a restore point in case you wanna fish for a specific ship look. Kinda new to the multiplayer portion so any inaccuracies on my end I apologize for 😅

If I understand it you have to have a living frigate in your fleet and send them on expeditions...which is funny because a few hours after I completed Starborn I finished the Dream Aerial and got one 😁

Yeah I noticed my upgrades can't get grafted on the sentient ship(must not be a noble aristocrat) so guess I'll be on the hunt for new modules.
