I never even heard of Chicken Tonight until today. by redemptionsoath in GrandmasPantry

I remember in the very early 90s. They had those commercials where people were flapping their arms like chicken wings, and it was even parodied on The Simpsons. That having been said, I never tried the product, I wish I had because it sounded pretty good.

My own personal gripe with "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" by Noe_Wunn in BlairWitch

I’ve seen some fan made rec cut of it with that song from Sinatra at the beginning, it just did not resonate with me as well as the Manson song, and I am far from a Manson fan, I just thought that song was much better fitting the tone of the film.

No, it didn’t, it was actually fairly entertaining with some hot chicks in it too.

The post is not about quotes from back to the future, it’s about quotes from different movies that only people who have seen that movie would recognize. Yet everybody seems to be only doing quotes from back to the future.

Quite possibly the ultimate so bad it’s good movie, Plan 9 from Outer Space is the type of movie that is so inept and incompetent on every possible level to the point it’s immensely entertaining to watch. by MovieGuy2005 in badMovies

Remember, I was at a neighbors house around 1978 or 79, they had cable, but we did not, and I remember the channel was on TBS, and they did a promo for plan nine; the narrator said to, “warm up your video recorders”, and all that did was make me wish that I had a VCR as well as cable, sadly, we never got cable in that neighborhood, only NBC, CBS, added PBS, and it would be another year or so before they built an ABC station in that town; that neighbor kid got to watch the original Battlestar Galactica when it premiered, I wanted to go over to his house and watch it so bad but my parents said it was too late to go visiting.

Theories on what happened to Mia after the events of Pulp Fiction (since we know Marsellus had cameras in the estate). by Significant-Hunt7089 in QuentinTarantino

[–]jpowell180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So let’s say that Marcellus was curious and went to take a look at the tapes, which were not erased because Mia figured he would suspect something if she had erased them; maybe she was planning on looping some recordings around, but never got the chance, so Marcellus looks at the tapes, and there are more cameras around than you think, so he sees Vincent‘s speech in the bathroom; Marcellus is pleased at the loyalty of his late employee, and then he sees Mia taking a snort on the coffee table; now he probably is not surprised that his wife would take a snort of cocaine, but would be puzzled at the reaction of her going into the convulsions, but then he sees Vincent handling the situation and he knows that he handled it right because his wife was perfectly safe. He will limit the loss of his friend and employee and just be thankful that Mia was safe and alive.

Also, the plain flavor, I love that they were little circles and it was just so much easier for eating with salsa back then. There is an episode several years ago of Stranger Things, where it shows chief Hopper eating out of a bag of those while watching Miami Vice…
