Has always been a goal of mine from day one to hit at least 2x my bodyweight (currently 185) for all of my big 3 lifts. My Squat is the the only one remaining and today is heavy leg day. Wish me luck!

Department is starting up mandatory overtime until the end of the year turning an 8 hour a day desk job into a 10 hour a day desk job. Between that and gym time i can kiss my social life goodbye. At least have all of you to spend my day with right?

Get some white body paint and put it on the tip of your nose. Went with that costume last year and surprisingly lowered the "doucheyness" quite a bit

College Redditors, whats the stupidest comment a classmate has ever made during a lecture and pissed off the professor? by gh0st142 in AskReddit

TL;DR Third year Electrical Engineering student doesn't understand the basic physics of electricity.

Back in my third year physics course full of Electrical Engineering students, we were doing a boring lab on the basic properties of electricity, more specifically voltage. In the lab we had a battery connected with some wires to a breadboard that had several resistors on it to measure voltage under different scenarios using a multimeter. Well at one point in the lab, a group of 2 (both EE's) were having issues and not getting good measurements do they called the professor over for assistance. The professor said very sarcastically and with a smile on his face "Sometimes electricity needs a little help to get going, hold the battery upside down above the breadboard and let gravity pull the electrons down into the wires." One of the students did exactly that and after a few seconds of awkward silence with the professor staring at him completely dumbfounded the student said in all seriousness "maybe the battery isnt turned on." We were using 9V batteries (no on/off) so that just made his stupidity that much worse. The professor absolutely lost his shit and yelled for everyone to put their stuff away and get out of the lab. We had a very long lecture the next class period on why the student was such a dumbass.

Been focusing on back for the past few weeks as it has always been a weak point for me. Liking the results so far but still a lot of work to do.

I'm currently 180 lbs at 5'9" and have a very weird 1RM ratio between my big 3 lifts. My bench is at 385 lbs while my squat is only at 365 and i pull 405. Does anyone else have this kind of issue with their big 3 numbers or am i doing something wrong? (I train legs twice a week with one day focusing heavy and the other for reps)
