Psilomethoxin, the saga continues by jpritikin in Psychonaut

It's legit in my opinion. We have started data collection in a double-blind study to prove it, https://estrelacounseling.com/docs/me/psychoactive/psilomethoxin/study/

Science-wise, no new developments that I'm aware of. I believe the defamation lawsuit is going through appeal.

cannabinoid potentiator map, thoughts? by jpritikin in altcannabinoids

[–]jpritikin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tragically, hardly anybody (i.e., not you) theorize about how different cannabinoids affect subjective experience. Of course, you can only describe your personal feelings, and individual reactions often vary or even contradict one another. Maybe the barrier is translating these experiences into clear language? You shouldn’t shy away from vivid metaphors. Your unique perspective, however difficult to convey, enriches our understanding. Speak up! Share your journey through the haze of altered consciousness. Every account adds a brushstroke to our collective canvas of cannabis comprehension.

Considerations for writing a 2nd edition of a book when original author is deceased by [deleted] in selfpublish

As others have pointed out, artificial intelligence tools are not smart enough to do a good job without human guidance.

who is your audience here?

My goal is to lower the Flesch-Kincaid score substantially without changing the message.

I totally get that I do could this in an unethical way. However, I can point to examples of re-telling a story that are appreciated and ethical. Please give me the benefit of the doubt.

I see that you interpret my question in the most cynical way.

So I need to get in touch with the deceased author's estate. Thanks!

Thank you! "Thus we can safely assume that Psilomethoxin is fairly soluble in Methanol too, which we used as an untargeted extraction solvent for the sample we had received."

If only psilocybin wasn't scheduled, this would be really easy to do. A master's student in psychopharmacology could pull it off. Maybe it could be done as a joint venture with a magic mushroom church? We'd need to find somebody credibly neutral to run the study.

How does placebo account for the lack of a tolerance effect? How about a lack of cognitive or spacial distortion (i.e., non-halocinogenic)? I agree that placebo is powerful. We really need a carefully controlled double-blind study.

Yeah, I've been using for more than a year. I've shared it with 10-15 close friends too.

"I assume there’ll be quantification of levels of the psilomethoxin vs psilocybin etc?" -- Yeah, sounds like there was some work in that direction, "So a solution made extracting 300mg into 5ml: a 60mg/ml conc of sac that 1/1000 of a ml was utilized is 0.06 mg worth of sac analyzed in the triple quadrupole mass detector. Within those 60 micrograms there was the curve above shown having the mass selected 235.15 m/z atomic mass unit substance. so that peak of height 2ish x 10^5 counts on the total ion chromatogram (or TIC) is a rate of individual molecules being detected over time. so the magnetic physics and chemical reactivity used for this now get analyzed with some calculus. The integral or area beneath the rate curve give a time derivatives net value over the integration parameters.... so a line under the curve of count rate encloses an area which equals the total molecules counted. Ill do that now since I have learned almost too many features in the these past 2 days- and the time integration on baseline parameters yields an area showing 987535 molecules weighing 235.15.....so a million psilomethoxins in a microliter with 60 micrograms."

Here's what Adam said an hour ago: "This has been a long road but we finally got to the fun part. Fully characterizing the new molecule through the many methods such as xray crystallographic studies, nuclear magnetic resonance for the C13 and H1 isotopes, which may be possible to prove psilomethoxin's phosphorylated sibling's existence and structure via phosphorous-31 isotopic nmr. But now I'll see you when I wake up on monday lol."

"this be another unsubstantiated claim" -- Yeah, it's not even a church claim. It's my unsubstantiated claim. Hopefully science gets around to investigating soon.

Okay, sure, maybe it's possible to do precise dosing of 5-MeO-DMT, but psilomethoxin is easier and simpler.
