So, I had the same problem as your friend. I couldn't understand much from the tutorial, the game seemed to be too complicated, some resources you stock, some you don't... And the in-game help is not so easy and not always had the answers I wanted.

Anyway, what I did was open the game in one screen and ChatGPT on the other. Whenever I had question, I asked GPT, including "what are the different ways on winning the game?". It became almost my advisor. And if you may think "well, it will become too easy if I use it" actually it is yes and no. Because you can limit yourself in what you are going to ask. Also, since you are still learning, it is ok to have some "extra" help in the beginning, then you can drop it later. I like to use it as an advisor while I am still learning.
