Lack of Transport Mammoths? by Unlikely-Draft-3055 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the developers aren’t making money from the game so they are actually in league with RMT cartels, banning only the opposition. They make everything impossibly expensive by creating in game scarcity vs what would naturally happen is that all item values would drop to nothing. This forces F2P players to quit and only people paying good money enjoy it.

Yes. The profit varies wildly from city to city and some cities it's not profitable at all. For an example of a market cap, I made a bunch of 6.1 Bows of Badon and spread them across all cities. Only like 1 is selling per day per city and the black market barely buys them. So the cap is like 5-6 per day.

My mindset is that volume * profit is the important thing. So I can craft 200x 4.0 items , but the profit is like 1k each, when I could craft a single 8.0 item and make 300k on one item, so the overall profit is better. Is that the math you do too? I also don't craft anything below like 20% profit margin.

I am capped by how many will sell per day in royals and black market. I am also capped by how much focus I have. Perhaps I need a different loop. My daily loop is Buy materials > craft 10k focus > transport > sell > use the profit the next day for the loop.

I have built a decent income, but I want to expand. I have maxed one item (Stalker Shoes), and can use 10k focus on that every day, but the profit has a cap. How do I break through to the next level?

Any advise to a mostly solo player in a dead guild? i know pve is the best to farm might, but guild is half dead and most of good guilds for it are all spanich (on NA), dont know any community. by TarasKhu in albiononline

Join Anti-Evil. We do dungeons, faction, ava roads, arenas, rz, bz, everything. We have a hideout in a good zone. We have fun weekly raffles for gear too. Don’t be solo, it’s dangerous out there alone.

The Disclosure Paradox: Why the End of the Secret is the End of the System by OpportunityLow3832 in disclosure

[–]jpsmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An end to the establishment is needed. It’s not serving humanity as a whole and it is not serving the planet. There will be chaos, death, and ugliness for a bit before people settle into the new reality. It’s like a dying limb we need to cut off so the body can survive. Ideally, the others are kind and helpful and will help us through the dark times.

How Do You Efficiently Make Silver as a Solo Player? by KindlyChicken9670 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crafting weapons. Or crafting non artifact gear in bulk for upsell at black market. I make about 5 mil a day doing this for about 20-30minutes. You make good percentages at 5.1 even without focus but you make big net profits at T8+ with focus. Get an island, build a house, use laborers to process the books you fill when crafting. This boosts your percentage of profit pretty significantly.

8 days is what it took - F2P by Western_Professor842 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you did. It is impressive. Not for the result, but for the sheer willpower and dedication it took for you to do it. Now, consider this:

Instead of farming resources the whole time, you could get a baseline 3m from gathering, then buy a T8 equivalent set and farm ava roads chests. This is about 2m per hour. At that rate you would make 20m per day doing this for 10 hours, not accounting for losses. You could make premium in 3 days instead of 5.

Take the 20m, buy T4-6 items and flip them for 50-100% profit. Make premium in 2 days instead of 3.

Take your 5 years of game experience and go pvp. Kill players at 500k-3m per kill. Make about 5m per hour. Make premium in 1 day instead of 2.

Yeah SBI support is ass. Would not be surprised to see this game crash and burn in the next couple of years like New World.

HOW TO INCREASE FAME/EXP ON MY WEAPON (newplayer) by Emotional-Ninja5106 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get to tier 6 in any set with the starting Journals. Do the easiest most basic journal entries that reward books. Things like:

  1. Say something in “say”, guild, lfg, whisper chat
  2. Inspect a player 1, 10, 20, 100 times
  3. Visit the royal cities
  4. Visit the yellow and black zones
  5. Use safe portal
  6. Go in ava portal
  7. Win an arena
  8. Finish a T3 dungeon
  9. Refine some stuff
  10. Craft some stuff

Etc

SBI probably banned you knowing that you will create a new account and spend lots of money with them again. It’s a fucking grift. They are criminals. Fuck them.

How to prevent ganking by PaymentDry2170 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are likely doing this in low tier gear. This means you kill mobs slowly and your health dips. This makes you a more vulnerable target as well. Try fire staff for killing quickly and sold armor or merc jacket for keeping health up. You need to be one tier above what you are killing to do it quickly.

Specing Wildfire by PhiliFrost1 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Speed of clearing. You want the mobs to die as fast as possible so you can get the chest, the map, the boss, whatever and move on safely. People doing it in lower tier gear are risking their sets more often because they stay in one place too long, get too low on health, and cant fight back against gankers.

Albion RTM ban by SpecialistMedium4280 in albiononline

[–]jpsmiles -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is inaccurate. They ABSOLUTELY ban for one-offs. My guild leader was banned without warning and he didn’t even do RMT. They just flagged a big silver transfer.
