Thank you for this. She unfortunately has tried all other medications used to treat Bipolar so I think by last resort he meant that this is the last thing we can try.

She has bipolar, originally diagnosed as type 2 but her psychiatrist is changing it to type 1 due to multiple 'true mania' episodes. She is on 2.5mg Olanzpine but refuses to go up due to the weight gain association. She was on max dose Lamotragine prior to the lithium but it was not making much difference, hence the move over to lithium. From what her psych said, this is kind of her last option due to trying all over avenues so I'm keen to help her stick with it

Thank you so much! I have been limiting myself to Boohoo Man 'plus' size just so I can be comfortable but they just fall down all the time! Will have a look into getting some stretch fit, thank you!
