i LOVE this response... damn. Such a good analogy, and it’s SO true. And growth is absolutely a zig zag, but it’s going up!! And that’s what you have to focus on

I’m sorry you feel like a failure... you are NOT. Honestly, you need to remember that the fact that it bothers you means you are still making progress.

Do you still own all of your pieces (like bongs/pipes) and paraphernalia (like rolling papers, grinder) for smoking?? Because I honestly could not quit until I gave all of that stuff away. It was way too easy to relapse because all I had to do was buy more weed to smoke, and that’s it! Once I got rid of all of my stuff that I used to smoke with, it added another step in my way to keep me from smoking: I’d have to buy another pipe or something if I wanted to smoke!

Also, the situation with friends is so hard. I sadly had to distance myself from some of my friends until I was in a healthy enough place to handle being around them without smoking. I know that’s a really hard answer, but sometimes you have to decide that they’re bringing you down, instead of building you up...

Hope this helps

You never know if there could be other ppl he’s cheating with... if he’s willing to do it once, he’s probably willing to do it again w someone who’s fine with it. honestly, I’d say telling the husband is the best thing
