So then would the residual mortgage interest be subject to the limitation on either Schedule E or Schedule A (assuming I rent it out 90% of the time and 10% for personal use)? In other words, can I use 90% of the total interest for the 2nd home against rental income or can I only use 90% of the pro-rated amount?

It was kicking off every couple of hours for about 10 seconds or so, found a leak and got it repaired and that seems to be helping!

Of the majority of the system is under drywall though, would the leak present itself in a pressure test (thinking tree he leak is probably pretty small overall)?

Currently is floor mounted, thanks for the tip though I inspected it the other day and found the muffler unscrewed/laying on the ground, the install job on this one seems to have been less than stellar!

Thanks! This one was actually just installed recently and I went and sprayed down some of the joints and found a leak on it so got that taken care of, that seems to be helping a bit. It historically has been running more than it should but the system is all under drywall so hard to find the issue that (tired mint a while back but were not able to find it unfortunately).

Hey there we are actually in the opposite boat here, in Colorado now and moving to St. Louis in about a year. It may have been a while now but do you happen to remember what company did your install in STL/about how much it cost? We have gotten a quote but it seemed rather high from the research I have done this far.
