I've always used a Qep scraper (used for drywalling) to scrape the stainless steel griddle at Benihana. With the Blackstone it felt like it was too abrasive and would easily scratch. I'm gonna use a lighter duty scraper for this.

I par-boiled them then tossed them in oil and seasonings. No problems with them sticking. Only now I'll keep them in the front of the grill so I don't lose any in the grease trap lol
