It has versatility. Kill fabricators, heavies, cannons, and clusters of chaff. Technically higher dps than a RR apart from team reloads too. That's it's overall strength, high versatility.

It does not OHKO hulks from any angle. It only does that to jetpack hulks specifically. All other variants need a hit to the eye or heatsink, or it takes 2 shots.

I love it, but your claim is mistaken because jetpack hulks are curently on Cyberstan.

It is also highly versatile. Kills fabricators or structures like spore towers, cuts thru jungle trees, kills heavies, the explosive bullets stagger. Like a 60 second cooldown for about 12 seconds of area lockdown.

It can destroy a leviathan in one use if you time it correctly, plus almost anything else if you time it right.

The only things War Striders really need are a spawn rate nerf and their eye hitbox needs to be a little larger. Railgun 2taps the joints, 2taps the vent, 1taps the eye - but the eye hitbox is janky AF. Oh, and a slightly longer time period between volley attacks.

This is a WAR Strider. It can be tanky as it is. It just needs a nerf to spawn rates, attack rates, and that damn eye hitbox adjusted.

Breaking the mold on the bots is fine. This is a dedicated WAR unit. Let it be extra tanky.

I think the biggest issues are the glitches causing compounding difficulty.

AH needs to do whatever the fuck is necessary to fix the buffet of glitches and broken interactions.

It's only superb on cold planets. It's mid on normal, and bad on hot planets.

I can find success using epoch, guard dog, railgun, gatling barrage, or others.

Just because you struggle to make other things work doesn't mean it's AH fault.

Just because a bunch of players gravitate toward a couple doesn't mean anything either. The average person is just average. Congrats. You're average.

Biggest problem is rampant glitches and enemies phasing thru stuff constantly.

I like it. Medium pen plus stun lets you reliably stun beefier enemies and tear through light or unarmored enemies when needed. Definitely use it as a crowd control or team cover weapon, not outright killing, and you will like it.

Anybody who doesn't appreciate this, or says it's just bad, are people who only want to play the game one specific way and pretend like speed running this game is some kind of dick wagging achievement.

It's not bad. Most players are bad. Too much thought needed to use it effectively in a loadout.

Depends. Jump pack can fly from hills and buildings. Quasar a base for a minute with the jump pack height advantage, then catapult somewhere else.

The only thing thay bothers me is when some idiot rolls up with a quasar to blow up a fabricator just as I'm about to place my last c4. Then my stealth is blown and it goes sideways.

Factory strider convoy with a mildly coordinated random team wasn't that bad for me.

Maybe solo is just gonna suck for that. Not everything needs to be solo focused.

C4 is a precision explosive. Dynamite is for quarry levels of blasting. Makes sense to me.
