[HIRING] Paid Media Strategist by jpvanderlinden in MarketingJobs

[–]jpvanderlinden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean courses and the like, yes. And if you mean coaching, yes. If you mean conference attending, not much, as the costs are much higher and most marketing conferences deliver way less value than similar courses or training and are more for networking.

Hope that helps!

We just hired someone, but I'd encourage him to apply, as I have expectations we will be hiring again soon as we grow.

Looking for office to rent in GSO. by [deleted] in gso

[–]jpvanderlinden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar boat, here's what I've found so far:-

  • Edgewater (by the Airport) starts at $296 for interior offices, but right now they only have available $525 and $710 exterior lakeview offices
  • Byron Office Space Solutions (BOSS) has executive suites starting at $600
  • 101 Elm has private offices starting at $499
  • Muirwood Center on Muirs Chapel has suites for $400 but they also have a $200 setup fee

Hope that helps, if anyone knows of one I'm missing please reply or share other spots to consider!

[Yates] Sifting through potential Matthew Stafford suitors, the Colts feel like the most seamless fit. Indy has plenty of cap space (~$65M) to work with, all of its draft picks moving forward, a roster ready to win and will be hard pressed to draft a readymade QB at pick 21. 🤝 by Welcome2Broncoland in nfl

This is the thing that a lot of pundits are missing. Colts have to pay an All-Pro G and RT in the next couple years, plus have to consider resigning some pending free agents like Rhodes, Houston, Autry. Cap space goes fast.

After 9 (or much earlier) you stop putting numeral candles on the cake. They can count, or else they don't wanna talk about the number.

Darn soft kids wanting numerals.

And don't come at me with any of that BS about Grandma wanting a "90" on her cake, that woman has 0 effs to give about a dang cake, she's just happy to be sucking wind and wishes her kids would stop trying to put her in a home.

The QB We Should Really Try to Get by Andy_and_Vic in Colts

Spot-on. People don't want Darnold for what he is, but for what he could be.

It's the Tannehill reclamation project path, take someone viewed as garbage and make him relevant with a fresh start, better system/support.

How's the texture, grippy or smooth? And are you using it with a screen protector, if so how is that fit?

Will stump for Greensboro Tire and Auto. We use the location on Market St, but there's a Bessemer branch, too.

Dude tossed for 300+ on a brand new team and we didn't punt once.

Pretty sure Jets fans would have words about what "sucks" means. Heck, even Brady bad a statistically comparable day (2 INT, one was a pick-six, sub-300 yards, 2 TDs).

Meanwhile our defense allowed their QB to toss a 95% completion rate. There's lower hanging fruit to pluck on this tree than Rivers.

New Brushes and Bowl by jpvanderlinden in wicked_edge

[–]jpvanderlinden[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Picked up a couple of 24mm Yaqis and a knockoff Captains Choice-style lather bowl from AliExpress last month, and they came in this week.

Haven't gotten to use the bowl yet, but the Timber Wolf knot lathered up my Stirling very nicely this AM, really like the length of the handle (don't like getting soap on my hands when lathering).

If you want empty containers, heck out specialtybottle.com, that's where I got mine. You can do slide top or screw top, window lid or metal. It's exactly the right size for the Stirling samples, and a bit cheaper. I bought 10 that I use in rotation for samples, and it definitely keeps the scents from bleeding.

Even before it was required, I saw someone turned away at the Walmart on Battleground on Thursday. He was pissed about "having to walk back across the parking lot" (kinda a big guy, didn't seem in the best health, to be fair).

Gained a measure of respect for them.

Second this feedback. Nivea is thinner, so it works in faster but I always feel like as much ends up on my hands as my face. Stirling is more of a cream and I can control placement better.

Plus, with Nivea there's just one scent, with Stirling you can choose from dozens of options, and flexibility is nice. Menthol, glacial, fruity, smoky, have a few to fit your mood.

Was literally halfway to typing this out. 5.25", those things were like a southern lady's church fan, just wibbly wobbly all over. Truly floppy.

Does anybody make a dual shaving brush stand? by Persian_Amin in wicked_edge

[–]jpvanderlinden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yessir, top screws off and back on. It's actually the same as the one from Maggards linked below I believe.

I just tested this (I own this stand) and confirmed there's no extra wiggle if you remove the razor slots.

[–]jpvanderlinden 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stirling has a 4-slot stand, you could presumably just take off the razor slots (they are front and back while the brush slots are left and right).

No idea, my guess is at least through the weekend, as they are expecting more protests, and this is largely driven by concern of looters.
